Tyler's unique journey began when his American father, a patent attorney, met his Japanese mother, a marine biologist, while working in Tokyo. Growing up along Japan's coastlines instilled in Tyler both a love for the ocean and an analytical mind. After following his father's footsteps into patent law, Tyler pioneered a remote work arrangement that allowed him to pursue his dual passions: analyzing weather patterns for the perfect surf while maintaining his legal career from wifi-equipped cafes around the world.
