Nathan's dual passion for urban planning and traditional crafts was sparked during a college backpacking trip through Peru, where he witnessed how ancient Incan urban design principles were still relevant in modern communities. After completing his master's in urban planning, he began documenting how traditional textile communities around the world create sustainable living environments, eventually building a following for his unique perspective that bridges modern city planning with traditional craft economies.
