Michelle Washington

Born to an African-American father stationed at a military base near Lyon and a French mother who worked as a historical archivist, Michelle developed a deep appreciation for both forest ecosystems and historical preservation from an early age. After completing her MBA at INSEAD, she built a successful management consulting career specializing in sustainable business practices while raising three children with her Norwegian-American husband in Anchorage, where she balances global business travel with documenting the historical and natural wonders she encounters along the way.
