Astrid Wagner

After a 30-year career as a dentist in Denver, Astrid relocated to Australia with her husband, an astronomy professor, for his work at Mount Stromlo Observatory. What began as volunteer dental missions to remote communities evolved into a passion for documenting disappearing ceramic traditions and dark sky locations. Now semi-retired, she combines her scientific precision, artistic eye, and healthcare background to create travel content that inspires older adults to pursue adventure while supporting cultural preservation and scientific awareness.
