Zara Alexander

Born to a classical Carnatic musician mother and an audio engineer father in Chennai, Zara grew up immersed in sound before immigrating to the US as a teenager. Her dual cultural identity created both challenges and opportunities, eventually inspiring her to document how different places 'sound' through travel content that bridges her technical audio expertise with cultural storytelling. After feeling disconnected from her roots during college, she now uses travel to reconnect with her heritage while building bridges between her two worlds.
