Sean Tucker

Sean worked as a maintenance technician at a natural history museum in Kansas City, where he developed a fascination with geological exhibits while repairing display cases and climate control systems. After volunteering to help fix lighting in a local cave system, he discovered a passion for underground exploration that eventually led him to take maintenance jobs at research stations in extreme environments around the world. Now based in Florence where he works part-time maintaining historical building systems, he uses his technical skills, working-class perspective, and flexible schedule to document remote environments that are rapidly changing due to climate change.
