Jacob Lawson

Jacob discovered his passion for adventure travel after a burnout-induced sabbatical led him to kayak the Arkansas River with his three children. As a chaplain who spent decades counseling others through life's journeys, he found that physical journeys could be equally transformative and began documenting his family's educational adventures to inspire other middle-aged parents to step outside their comfort zones. His unique perspective as an African American chaplain in the outdoor adventure space has attracted a loyal following of families seeking meaningful travel experiences that nurture both mind and spirit.
