Hayden Takahashi

After 25 years as a conventional builder in the US, Hayden experienced a profound shift during a sabbatical in Japan connecting with his paternal roots, where he discovered the perfect intersection of his building skills and love for nature through traditional Japanese treehouse architecture. Moving to Mumbai after falling in love with an Indian architectural historian (now his wife), he began documenting sustainable building practices across Asia while raising their daughter, eventually growing his hobby into an influential platform that champions architectural traditions at risk of being lost to modernization.
