Douglas Sanders

Douglas discovered his passion for travel and cooking while studying abroad in New Zealand during his MBA program, where he also went on his first whale watching expedition. After his children were born, he was determined to show them the world despite his risk-averse career, so he began methodically planning educational backpacking adventures that combined his loves of marine wildlife and culinary exploration, documenting these journeys to help other families step outside their comfort zones safely.
