Corey's fascination with patterns began during childhood explorations of Tohono O'odham basketry designs through his maternal grandmother, later reinforced by his engineering studies before pivoting to technical writing. After his divorce at 42, he began solo traveling to document how sacred geometry appears across different cultures, eventually building a following for his unique perspective that bridges technical precision with cultural appreciation. Now living with his teenage son in Nashville, his travels serve as both personal renewal and a way to document the mathematical underpinnings of human creativity across seasons and civilizations.
