Claire's journey into travel blogging began after a screenwriting assignment took her to rural Japan, where she documented the disappearing craft of traditional papermaking for a documentary that never got funded. The experience awakened a passion for preserving cultural traditions through storytelling, which evolved into her blog when her first child was born and she wanted to create a blueprint for meaningful family travel. Now traveling with her husband and three children (ages 12, 9, and 6), she seeks out experiences that connect them to diverse spiritual traditions and sustainable innovations while demonstrating that family travel can be both enriching and environmentally conscious.
