Carlos Payne

Carlos discovered his passion for ceramics and craft beer after a burnout-induced sabbatical at age 50, when he apprenticed with a master potter in Oaxaca and volunteered at a microbrewery in Portland. After transitioning to part-time consulting, he began documenting his dual passions through travel, initially for his own records but eventually building a following among fellow 'retirement rebels' seeking meaningful pursuits and cultural connections in their later years.
